Asphalt & Bitumen Crack Sealer

Upatch Crack Sealer is the ideal product to create a seal in carparks, driveways, paths or similar areas. Use around patching or for cracks in asphalt, to fill crevices, or in crocodile cracking to repair cracks and prevent further damage.

Ideal for using underneath and around a coldmix asphalt patch or repair, providing a waterproof seal. Further uses include sealing between asphalt and concrete or between existing and new areas of asphalt. It can also be used to create a seal around the base of any penetrations in asphalt surfaces such as road signs, posts or poles, to prevent water ingress.

Containing > 60% water means Upatch Crack Sealer is fume and solvent free.
 

It’s unique blend of properties adheres to bitumen and concrete surfaces alike.
 

Offers excellent weather resistance by forming a non-tacky and flexible seal which can be walked or driven on in approximately 20 minutes after use.

PREPARATION FOR USE:
Ideally, surfaces should be free from loose particles, grease or oil. To prepare, remove any foreign matter, weeds or dust. For best results, rough broom and hose down to ensure surface is clean and stable. Allow to dry before applying crack seal.

HOW TO USE:
Shake product well before easy use. Remove tip and gently squeeze crack sealer into the cracks, gaps or crevices, allowing to settle before topping up as necessary.

TIPS, CLEAN UP & STORAGE:
Crack Sealer should not be used in joins over 15mm wide, just prior to rain, or over movement or expansion joins. It is recommended that crack seal should be used in temperatures between 10 and 32 degrees.
Clean up with water while the product is still wet, or mechanically if dried.
Crack seal is best stored at room temperature, avoiding freezing conditions and out of direct sunlight.

 

When stored correctly, shelf life can be up to 12 months.
